Liquid V proudly presents the launch of its brand-new series, Signature Sounds. This exciting project is dedicated to showcasing the finest underground liquid drum and bass, staying true to the roots that have defined the label since its inception. Handpicked by label boss Bryan Gee, each track in this series celebrates the original funk and soul-infused liquid sound, blending nods to the past with forward-thinking production.

The first volume of Signature Sounds features four diverse yet cohesive tracks that encapsulate the spirit of Liquid V. Opening with "Leap Of Faith" by Philth and Luke Truth, listeners are treated to a soul-drenched vocal roller that marks the duo’s return to the label. Following this is Bluemode's "No Matter," a track that has caught Bryan's ear with its funk and disco-tinged flair. Bluemode, a fresh face on the scene, brings a classic yet invigorating energy.

The EP continues with "When I Was Young" by A-Audio, a dynamic duo that includes Liquid D&B royalty, DJ Addiction. This track is a dancefloor roller packed with all the funk and energy that have become synonymous with the Liquid V sound. Rounding off the release is Motiv’s "Walkin' Jazz," a beautiful, timeless piece filled with piano jazz that follows up on his recent acclaimed EP on the label.

Liquid V has been at the forefront of the liquid drum and bass scene for over 20 years. Since its inception, the label has ridden the waves of trends and fashions, consistently delivering 100% organic, soul-fused, and funk-filled music. The term ‘liquid’ has evolved over the years, taking on different meanings for different people, but at its core, Liquid V has always been about music produced from the heart. The label’s sound spans a diverse range, from rare groove and disco-influenced tracks to atmospheric rollers and deeper, darker minimal styles.

This new series, Signature Sounds, follows in the footsteps of the highly successful Liquid V Club Sessions, which first exploded onto the scene in 2005, featuring tracks from some of the biggest names in the genre such as Roni Size, DJ Fresh, Calibre, and dBridge. The Club Sessions were a landmark project that launched the Liquid V vision to the world, and now, Signature Sounds is set to continue that legacy, celebrating the original liquid sound while embracing its evolution.
