V Recordings has a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and exceptional individual to provide comprehensive administrative, marketing, and creative support to the management team at a leading Drum & Bass record label.
We are looking for a passionate and organised self-starter who will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the label, supporting the Label Manager and Social Media Manager. As a vital member of our management company, Straight Six (and its associated labels), you will take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time while ensuring all aspects of the business run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

Label Management Support
:
- Assist the Label Manager with release and label strategies, helping to drive the vision and goals of the label.
- Coordinate and oversee the administration related to releases, including artist contracts, licensing, metadata management, and distribution.
- Work closely with A&R, artists, and external partners (distributors, promoters, press) to ensure the successful execution of release campaigns.
- Manage the delivery of audio, artwork, and promotional assets to distributors and retailers.

Marketing & Social Media
:
- Assist with the execution of marketing plans for single and album releases, collaborating with the Social Media Manager.
- Assist Social Media Manager with day-to-day management of social media channels.
- Create and edit basic promotional assets (graphics, videos, GIFs) using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and basic video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or similar).
- Assist in setting up and managing digital ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Work closely with artists to coordinate promotional activities, including press interviews, podcasts, and live streams.

Creative Content & E-commerce
:
- Oversee the creation and scheduling of newsletters, e-commerce product listings, and promotional content.
- Assist in managing online stores, tracking inventory, setting up promotions, and coordinating product launches.

Administrative
:
- Liaise with manufacturers for vinyl and merchandise production, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Provide general administrative support, including maintaining schedules, organising meetings, and keeping track of tasks and deadlines.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to liaise with artists, industry professionals, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools and basic understanding of analytics (Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with the music industry and a passion for Drum & Bass, alongside a commitment to promoting the genre.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
Additional Details
This is an office-based role located in South London. While remote work may be considered occasionally, the role primarily requires the candidate to work from our office to collaborate closely with the team.
This is a part-time position (3 days a week), with the potential to extend to full-time (5 days) after the initial probation period.
A flexible approach to working hours, particularly around release dates and events, is expected.
