Critycal Dub
The journey of Critycal Dub began in 2006, when Thiago Borges and David met the producer Acuna through the internet. Their purpose was to create Critycal Dub to develop ideas, and break the mould of Drum'n`Bass in Brazil. Not just Liquid Funk, Critycal Dub started producing a variety of styles of Drum'n'Bass wich were hard to find in São Paulo or Brazil including styles like jump up.
The influences come from a variety of sources, R&B, Hip Hop, Jungle and House music, also came from good music, dj's, singers and music producers that we felt had an open mind. Critycal Dub's big break came when DJ Andy showed Bryan G their music, helping them to sign the tracks Rude Bwoys and Silence with label Chronic records from V Recordings. A big influence for the Brazilian duo, Bryan G as well DJ Marky, DJ Andy, Fabio an DJ Hype too have helped forge the Critycal Dub sound. Still producing the music they love, expect more Critycal Dub across the V Family labels soon!
